"Iran extends friendship hand to all Muslims on Palestinian issue"

Shaikh Zuhair Juaid, the Head of Islamic Action Front, says the Islamic Republic of Iran has invited all Muslim countries to converge in line with the Palestinian cause.

Holding this conference indicates that Iran is keen on the expansion of ties among Muslims countries, said Juaid at the 38th International Islamic Unity Conference scheduled which kicked off In Tehran.

Iran is interested in helping Islamic states to enhance their affinity, he said.

Elsewhere in his remarks, he praised the Islamic Republic for its initiative and efforts in line with the Palestinian cause.

Imam Khomeini (RA) is considered the flag-bearer of Islamic Unity in the world, he further noted.
The new edition of the conference entitled “Islamic Cooperation to Achieve Common Values with an Emphasis on Palestine Issue” opened at the Islamic Conference Hall on Thursday September 19.
 
More than 150 elites, prayer leaders, intellectuals and activists from across the world attend the conference underway on September 19-21 with the main focus of the event on the issue of Palestine.
 
The major Islamic event is annually held by World Forum for Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought in part of efforts for the Muslim intellectuals to convene and discuss the developments across the world of Islam.
