A top Iranian cleric highlighted monotheism as the most important pillar in Islam urging on all Muslims to maintain solidarity among them.

Held by Hujjat-ul-Islam Abdul Karim Biazar Shirazi, the first session of “Proximity Culture” was held at World Forum for Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought in the capital Tehran on Monday.

The supervisor of University of Islamic Denominations in Iran’s Kurdistan province hailed former president of the renowned Islamic academy, Hujjat-ul-Islam Abdulkarim Biazar Shirazi for endeavors to promote proximity and issues challenging the world of Islam during his life.
