During his two-day visit, Enrique Mora will meet with the US special envoy for Iran, Rob Malley, as well as the top White House official on the Middle East, Brett McGurk, and the number three US diplomat, Victoria Nuland.

According to what has been agreed, Enrique Mora is scheduled to arrive in Tehran on Saturday night and will meet with Ali Bagheri, the senior negotiator of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Vienna talks, on Sunday. Meetings may also be held between Mora and some Iranian senior officials at his request.

Enrique Mora is the coordinator of the ongoing talks between Iran and five world countries namely Russia, China, the UK, Germany, and France on Iran's nuclear deal known as the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA).
