Russia’s president says development of new logistics routes is an “inevitable” process backed by growth of economy and trade and due to geopolitical risks.
“The primary solution to the Palestinian problem is the establishment of a fully-fledged Palestinian State. The Russian side has upheld this position since the Soviet era,” he remarked during a meeting with BRICS media managers in Moscow.
This statement was made during a cordial meeting with Ali-Akbar Ahmadian, the Secretary of Iran's Supreme National Security Council and representative of the Leader of Iran's Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei, who was attending the BRICS high-level security officials' summit in St. Petersburg.
Iran's Parliament Speaker Mohammad Bagehr Ghalibaf referred to this meeting by publishing a message on his page on X social platform, saying: "In the meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin, while pursuing the financial agreement between the two countries and the corridor project, I emphasized the necessity of developing economic relations."
Seyyed Ebrahim Raisi, in his meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin, while expressing his satisfaction with the growing relations between the two countries, called the cooperation with Russia as important in line with the Islamic Republic of Iran's neighbourhood policy.
