Human rights, tools for imposing west’s objectives on Islamic countries
Iran’s Foreign Ministry spokesman has slammed the western countries for misusing human rights to impose their objectives on Islamic countries.

Nasser Kana’ani, in a meeting with the heads of Muslim world international universities with participants to the 37th Islamic Unity Conference said human rights has turned into tools for the west to impose its objectives in different arenas to the Islamic countries, reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA).
He referred to the issues Muslim countries face in the international arena and said,” It is a regret that the international organizations have turned into the means for promoting the objectives of powerful countries, inflict damage to the developing countries, among them Muslim nations.”
He censured the western countries for imposing its objectives in different arenas related to women’s rights and families to Islamic countries.
Nasser Kana’ani noted that the world of Islam suffers from serious shortcomings in the field of capable media to publish the news related to the world of Islam.
He warned of Islamophobia as a serious threat for Muslim world and that the Islamic countries are in dire need of sending the message of Islam to the world.
Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman called for a procedure under which participants to the annual Islamic Unity Conference can communicate when necessary.
Nasser Kana’ani made the comments at a meeting of the participants to the 37th Islamic Unity Conference with heads of the Muslim world universities held on the final day of the event.
Held by Iran’s World Forum for Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought, Muslim scholars and religious figures from across the globe exchanged views on the issues challenging the world of Islam in the 37th Islamic Unity Conference (IUC). Participants also discussed the theme of this meeting “Islamic Cooperation to Achieve Common Values.” The event is the climax of the Islamic Unity Week that marks the birth anniversary of Prophet Mohammad (PBUH).
