Raisi, who had arrived in Oman on Monday morning at the official invitation of "Haytham bin Tariq Al Said", the Sultan of Oman, heading a high-ranking delegation, arrived at Mehrabad Airport on Tuesday morning.

Holding a press conference upon his arrival in Tehran on Wednesday with his Iranian counterpart Hossein Amir-Abdollahian, Oman's Foreign Minister Badr Albusaidi said: "I will convey the letter of Omani Sultan to Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi, and hope to visit him in the near future in Oman to form a new phase of bilateral ties and cooperation."
