The custodian of Imam Reza shrine in Iran has called bilateral cooperation and exchange of knowledge between the holy shrines in Iran and Iraq as means for better services for the pilgrims.

Servants at holy shrines across Iran have hoisted black flag and prepared to mark the mourning ceremonies of Muharram which commemorate the martyrdom anniversary of Imam Hussein (AS), third Shia Imam and 72 of his companions in the Battle of Karbala back in 680 AD.
